This is a critical document that sets the direction for our town in areas such as housing density, type of development, open space and much more. Please have a look and submit your comments, questions and thoughts to Council. Community Meeting – Healesville Hospital

100 people attended a community meeting in Healesville last night in support of getting the right health services locally. They were presented with the results of the research commissioned by the community into the demand and need for services locally and the best way forward. With the Business Case now completed it is time for another community meeting. The findings of the Business Case will be presented to the community. SHH Meeting with Minister Davis

The Save Healesville Hospital Action Group recently had another meeting with Minister Davis. The main 2 reasons for the meeting were to request his support gaining access to financial data to support the undertaking of a Business Case into the future best service models for local health services and to discuss significant concerns with Eastern Health’s approach to the redevelopment. The Save the Healesville Hospital Committee met with Minister Davis last week to put forward the case for the shift to a Small Rural Health Service. The meeting went well but no commitment was made my the Minister. Planning for our future – Healesville Structure Plan

The Healesville Structure Plan,once developed, will provide the framework for future growth, development and use. The process is only beginning and the Healesville Structure Plan Discussion_Paper_Feb_2013 offers a chance for your to make your voice heard about what you would like our town to become. Email, write or join the online forum (www.yarraranges.vic.gov.au) before the 18th March. There will be much more consultation as we move through the process but please share your thoughts now!
